First Day of Spring

Today is the first, (or second) day of spring, depending who you ask, and we've just received our largest snowfall in 2 years. It's a heavy, wet snow, and we will probably have 6 inches + when all is said and done. Snow is supposed to taper off around midnight tonight. The forest was blanketed under the white stuff, and it was interesting to hear spring bird song coming from the tree tops. I guess the groundhog was right this year...
