First time I've seen a deer in the Verdugos. Wonder if there are mountain lions nearby?

Today I continued my exploration of the Verdugo's by hiking part of the Brand Motorway that I never hiked before. A very nice section of trail. Broke my personal rule about no talking on the cell phone while hiking. Called the rental company to see if there was any progress on a possible candidate. No luck as of today.
