has been almost too much to take. So many trails, so little money. I've had a few months to rest, now I'm ready to get back out there and do some walking. Perhaps it's because spring is here. I'm already starting to crunch numbers and wonder if spring 2012 is a possibility. I'm not getting any younger, and I hate to think of wasting two years of good health before being able to hike again. I think I will be able to make a decision come September.
If you start in spring maybe you can fit it in before the end of the world later that year. If nothing else hike from one end to the Asheville area and then just finish the other segments when you have time later!
ReplyDeleteWant to do it again when I turn 50?
ReplyDeleteJohhny, that's a great idea. Maybe watch the end of the world from the top of Katahdin? Michael, I'll prob be up for another round. We can have a beard off.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like wondering if the world ended while you're camping. That plane flying over us in Colorado was our only evidence nothing changed.
