PCT Trail Scenes #123 (Oct.12, 2010)

We woke up to a freezing morning with a light dusting of snow on our shelters. Winter seemed just around the corner. (Wide Angle can be seen with his headlamp reviewing the days itinerary.)

A beautiful sunrise casting light on the larch pines.

Flyboy happily hiking north (above).
35 miles to go!
Wide Angle eating a snack at the ranger station just before Hart's Pass.

We met Grinder who had finished his PCT hike the day before. He was now hiking south to Hart's Pass where he was going to meet friends to take him home. He did not have his Canada entry papers so he turned around at the border.

Our last sunset on the PCT.
