Mt. Baldy

  5. Mark, like I mentioned in my email, that is the advantage of having a "real" camera (and more importantly an awesome lens). Judging by some of your photos from Muir, some of these locations make great photos no matter what kind of camera you have, but you could take them to another level with a good SLR.

  6. Michael, do you know off hand how much approximate weight would be added with a camera upgrade? (I'm just using a simple HP digital) I'll have to look into it.

  7. Unfortunately, with a DSLR, you're adding significant weight. The body wouldn't be too bad, but the lenses are usually weighty.
